The processing of titanium alloy forged rings mainly consists of three steps:
Hot forming, cold forming, and heat treatment. Hot forming includes forging/rolling (900-950℃) and powder metallurgy, suitable for rings of different sizes and complexities.
Cold forming, achieves precise dimensional control through cold rolling, spinning, or machining; for example, the wall thickness tolerance of thin-walled rings can be controlled within ±0.05mm.
solution treatment (water quenching at 930-950℃) and aging treatment (air cooling at 500-600℃) improve mechanical properties, achieving a tensile strength of ≥860 MPa.
