Processing Capabilities of high purity Gr1 titanium bar
Machining: Gr1 titanium bar has excellent machining performance. It not only has good weldability and is suitable for various welding processes, but also exhibits excellent mechanical machining performance, which enable it is easy to saw and grind. At the same time, it possesses superior stamping performance and is capable of being processed into various complex-shaped parts.
Welding: Gr1 titanium bars have good weldability and high joint strength, but the hydrogen content and protective atmosphere must be strictly controlled.
Forming: In short, Gr1 titanium bars have excellent plasticity, and are suitable for both hot and cold forming, and can be processed into complex irregular shapes.
Annealing Range: 650–760°C
Forging Range: 815–900°C
