Characteristics and applications of TA1,TA2,TC4,TA9 titanium rods

The alloying ability of titanium makes the metal stronger and more durable, and we provide you with a reliable metal that can withstand a variety of impacts. The strength of titanium rods depends on the material of titanium, and here are the differences:
Pure titanium rod
TA1 Pure titanium rod
Compared to other metal rods, TA1 titanium rods are the softest and most malleable metal we offer. That being said, TA1 has a high level of formability and corrosion resistance, as well as impact toughness.
Our titanium rods are used in a wide range of applications, including chemical processing, construction and automotive parts, while TA1 titanium rods are also used in the medical industry for surgical implants and devices.
TA2 pure titanium rod
TA2 titanium rods are known as commercial pure "workhorses" and provide useful strength for a wide range of applications. Comparing TA2 titanium with TA1 titanium, TA2 titanium is slightly stronger and has excellent weldability, strength and ductility, making it a routine choice for industry.
TA2 titanium rods can be used in similar applications to TA1 titanium rods, but also for power generation, hydrocarbon processing and seawater desalination.
titanium rod
Titanium is alloyed with another metal for higher strength. Combining the properties of titanium with other metals will provide a reliable metal with good quality.
TC4 titanium alloy rod
As a "workhorse" titanium alloy, TC4 has numerous advantages, which is why it is so popular. Although TC4 titanium is known for its high strength and low weight, strength can be increased by heat treatment. Like any other titanium rod or plate, TC4 titanium is resistant to corrosion.
TC4 titanium is used in the following industries; Aerospace, Marine and medical, can also be used in chemical processing. In addition, these titanium rods are used in the manufacture of aircraft turbines, engine components and automatic components.
TA9 titanium alloy rod
Some features of the TA9 we offer are similar to those of the TA2. The physical and mechanical strength of TA9 titanium rods can be closely linked to that of TA2 titanium rods, except that they have higher corrosion resistance and have high weldability. You will find that TA9 titanium in corrosive environments comes in handy when manufacturing production equipment and components. In addition to this, it is designed for chemical processing applications with high strength and reliability.
TA10 titanium alloy rod
TA10(Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni) titanium alloy is a corrosion resistant titanium alloy, which is a near-α alloy developed to improve the gap corrosion performance of pure titanium. The alloy contains 0.3%Mo and 0.8%Ni, which not only strengthens the alloy, but also has good gap corrosion resistance to high temperature, low pH chloride or weak reducing acid. Its corrosion resistance is better than pure titanium and close to TA9 alloy. TA10 alloy also has good process plasticity and welding properties, and has been fully used in the chemical industry. The alloy can be used in the annealed state, and its main products are sheet, bar, pipe, forgings and wire. Similar foreign brand Gr.12.
TC11 titanium alloy rod
The nominal composition of TC11 titanium alloy is Ti-6.5Al-3.5Mo-1.5Zr-0.3Si, which is a heat-resistant titanium alloy of α-β type, with an aluminum equivalent of 3.5 and a molybdenum equivalent of 7.3.
TC11 titanium alloy is a high temperature titanium alloy widely used in aviation, the use temperature is 500℃, mainly used in aero engine compressor parts, such as blades, discs, drums and shafts. It can also be made into special-shaped castings, and the working conditions of the parts are that the annealing state can be used for 500 hours below 500 ° C and 100 hours below 550 ° C and 1000 hours below 450 ° C, and the strengthened treatment state can be used for parts that work for 100 hours below 500 ° C and parts that work for one time below 700 ° C.
