ASTM F136: This titanium alloy standard is used in medical implants.The ASTM F136 require the chemical composition,mechanical properties,biocompatibility,and other aspects need to meet strict requirements to ensure the safety and reliability of implants in the human body.In general,ASTM F 136 is applicable to orthopedic implants,such as bone screws, bone plates, artificial joints, and other medical devices that require high reliability and biocompatibility.

ASTM F67: This is the titanium alloy standard used in the manufacture of various medical devices. Compared with ASTM F13,the requirement of ASTM F67 is relatively relaxed. It includes the basic reuqirements of the chemical composition and mechanical properties of titnaium alloys,but the requirements for biocompatibility are relatively lower than ASTM F136.The pure titanium medical rod standard is generally applicable to some medical devices that do not require implantation, such as surgical instruments and dental instruments.

So, the main difference between ASTM F136 and ASTM F67 is the strictness of their application scope and biocompatibility requirements.

 Surface treatment

 Inspection and testing
