Product Introduction
Descriptions of Medical grade tianium alloy
Medical Grade Titanium Alloy Plate has two types: Ti-6AL4V and Ti-6AL4VELI, alloys made of 6% Aluminum and 4% Vanadium, are the most common types of titanium used in medicine. Because of its harmonizing factor with the human body, these titanium alloys are popularly used in medical procedures, as well as in body piercings. Also known as Gr. 5 and Gr. 23, these are some of the most familiar and readily available types of titanium in the US, with a number of distributors specializing in these specific grades.
Medical grade titanium plates are thin and biocompatible metal sheets. It is typically made of titanium alloys (such as Ti-6Al-4V ELI). They are widely used in bone repair, including fracture treatment, joint replacement, and maxillofacial reconstruction due to their high strength, lightweight, corrosion resistance, and elastic modulus similar to bone. They are used as implants and surgical instruments to achieve long-term in vivo integration and facilitate clear imaging. These plates are specially shaped and fixed to the bone with screws. And it can provid stable mechanical support, and also can promot healing ,and meanwhile it can minimize the stress shielding effects. These plates are usually permanently retained in the body. Medical grade titanium alloy plates are mainly divided into two types: Ti-6Al-4V and Ti-6Al-4V ELI. Both are composed of 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium.these too types plates are the most commonly used titanium alloys in the medical field. They are widely used in medical surgeries and biopsies due to their high biocompatibility with human tissue.
Also the are known as Grade 5 and Grade 23 titanium alloys, these are the most common and readily available types of titanium alloys on the US market. Many distributors specialize in supplying these specific grades of alloy materials.
Furthermore, Ti-6Al-4V and Ti-6Al-4V ELI exhibit superior fracture resistance in dental implants. Implant surgery typically begins by inserting a titanium screw that resembles a tooth root in shape and function.
After the bone and medical titanium screws have fully fused, the prosthesis is then attached to the implant. Thus this can achieve the stable tooth restoration.

FAQ
Q: What is medical grade titanium?
A: Medical-grade titanium, including pure titanium and titanium alloys, is a specially processed form of titanium that is crucial in the healthcare field due to its excellent biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, strength-to-weight ratio, and durability.
Q: Is medical grade titanium worth anything?
A: High-grade aerospace or medical-grade titanium is expensive, usually 2-3 times the price of mixed alloys. Pure titanium is non-magnetic and can be identified with a small magnet.
Q: Is titanium safe for medical use?
A: Titanium is a commonly used inert biocompatible implant material in medical and dental fields. Although the use of titanium is considered safe with a high success rate, rare reports of titanium causing problems have also been documented in certain cases..
