Chinese Titanium Cup Goes Global

The pursuit of technology, health, and perfection-these are the unwavering goals of our Baoji titanium processing plant's "cup industry." Several years ago, our independently developed multi-functional in-vehicle cup series went international. A few years later, our pure titanium insulated cup series also went international, appearing in exhibition halls in the United States and Japan.

These past few years have flown by. A few years ago, our Baoji titanium processing plant took its self-invented multi-functional car mug to the United States, attracting significant attention and securing a large number of orders at a gift expo in Las Vegas. It was also at this expo that our Baoji titanium processing plant first encountered titanium. In front of the Japanese booth, the company representative held up a metal mug that wasn't stainless steel, noticing its lightness, and inquired about its material. The Japanese replied that it was a new material, titanium, which China couldn't produce…

"You Chinese can't produce this." This single sentence stung the hearts of us titanium processing entrepreneurs in Baoji, prompting us to embark on a years-long research and development project for titanium cups and other household products. During these years, relying on stainless steel car cups as our economic foundation, we adopted a combined domestic and international industry-academia-research model, diligently developing our titanium cup product series. After eight years of dedicated effort, our independently developed titanium cups, which have won numerous invention patents, have become increasingly mature, innovative, and diverse. Finally, we've taken our independently developed and produced titanium cups abroad, showcasing them in the United States and Japan.

I recall at the ASD exhibition in Las Vegas, USA, our titanium cup was the only one exhibiting in the hall, attracting significant market attention. Inquiries came in, business cards were left, and potential collaborators expressed their interest. We also showcased our independently developed CO1 hydrogen generator, a small health product that drew considerable attention. Our representative stated that the recognition we received for our first time showcasing our self-produced titanium cup internationally demonstrates that our years of hard work and R&D have not been in vain.

Following that, we took our titanium cup series to the Tokyo International Gift Show in Japan. There were two titanium exhibitors at the show; the other was a Japanese company specializing in crystallized titanium cups. At this gift show, our titanium cup technology received attention and recognition. One customer tested our auspicious cloud-themed titanium cup and said, "Your cups have excellent heat retention!" The customer then asked if we could send him other titanium cup series for testing after the Osaka exhibition.

At the Tokyo Gift Show in Japan, we met Mr. Kotaki, an advisor to the Japan Titanium Association, who praised our double-walled vacuum insulated cup technology. He also expressed his hope that more people would learn about titanium and use titanium cups.

Our titanium cups achieved great success at exhibitions in the US and Japan. We developed them with dreams in mind, expanded them with innovative ideas, and shared our technology. When interviewed, our manager was asked what the biggest takeaway was from our "Chinese titanium cups" going abroad for the first time. He said, "Learning, exchanging ideas, and integrating." Feedback from the exhibitions showed that our titanium cups have unique technological advantages that have been recognized, but there are also many areas that need further improvement. Japan's craftsmanship offers many valuable lessons to learn.

The realization of dreams is not just empty talk, but a result of scientific research and ingenuity. During the interview, we learned that a company ranking among the world's top ten cup manufacturers, which showed interest in our titanium cups at the Tokyo Gift Show, ultimately signed a formal cooperation agreement with us. Our titanium cups, the culmination of eight years of hard work, have finally reaped the rewards. While securing a large private customization order domestically, we have also found our direction for continued efforts through breakthroughs in international cooperation: the pursuit of technology, the pursuit of health, and the pursuit of perfection!
