The total output value of Baoji titanium and titanium alloy industry chain will increase by 10% year-on-year in 2024
The reporter learned from the organizing committee of the 2025 Baoji Titanium Valley International Titanium Industry Expo that in 2024, the city's titanium and titanium alloy industry chain titanium output will reach 75,000 tons, with a total output value of about 56 billion yuan, an increase of about 10% year-on-year. According to statistics, up until now, there are 185 titanium enterprises above a certain scale in the city, forming a complete industrial chain from sponge titanium to titanium material processing, reflecting the development advantages of each enterprise and the diversified development of common prosperity.
In recent years, with the goal of building the "World Titanium Capital and China Titanium Valley" and constructing an international first-class titanium industry cluster, our city has precisely issued the "Baoji Titanium and New Materials Industry Chain Enhancement Three-Year Action Plan (2023-2025)" for industrial development, and implemented the "Six Major Projects" of strengthening leading enterprises, gathering industrial clusters, extending, supplementing and strengthening the industrial chain, improving innovation capabilities, introducing and training talents, and optimizing the service system. The level of advanced titanium industry foundation and modernization of the industrial chain has been comprehensively improved.
As leading enterprises continue to grow, the High-tech Zone has successively planned and built the Science and Technology New City Titanium and New Materials Industrial Park and the Qing'anbao Park of the Titanium and New Materials Industrial Park, and the industrial clusters have gathered and the carrying capacity has continued to improve. In addition, some companies have continued to provide high-quality titanium products with the strategy of "I have what others don't have", forming a differentiated competitive advantage and promoting the diversified development of the titanium industry.
At present, many titanium enterprises in Baoji City have established a complete industrial chain from "sponge titanium - titanium ingots - titanium and titanium alloy processed materials - titanium composite materials - titanium deep-processing products", and can produce more than 100 brands, more than 300 varieties and more than 5,000 specifications of titanium and titanium alloy processed materials, which are exported to more than 70 countries and regions.
